Get Texels

When you purchase an image in the grid it will be displayed on the site www.buytexels.com as well as in the loading screen of the game Farmlands(TM). See details below in the terms and conditions.

By buying Texels you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. When you 'buy' texels you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will be published on the homepage in the space you selected and paid for on the texel grid. This does not imply or include ownership of the homepage or site.
2. The texel grid may be moved from its position on the homepage but will remain somewhere on the site for at least the next 5 years from the date of posting so atleast until 26th of August 2013 . 
3. Based on where you placed your image in the texel grid it will be displayed in the loading screen of the game Farmlands(TM) before the starting menus. The "starting menus" Are defined as the menus that are used to begin the game.
4. By display in Farmlands(TM) we mean the 1st edition of the game which does not include or imply sequals, remakes,  or expansions.
5. Display of Images in Farmlands(TM) is also subject to the terms and conditions of platforms Farmlands(TM) is running on. In the event your image is not allowed on a platform but the rest of the images are you will be notified and have 14 days to resubmit a new image for consideration.
6. The links you submit will work on the web page but not in the game. Only the Image shall be displayed in the game.
7. We do NOT accept web sites that display or promote obscene, adult, offensive, hateful or illegal subject matter, to be determined at our discretion. If you submit an image, title, description or link that we determine to be obscene, adult, offensive, hateful or illegal in nature, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your payment will be refunded, and you will loose your Texels.
8. You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them.
9. If your image and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund.
10. If your image, title, description and link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show obscene, adult, offensive, hateful or illegal material, your image, title, description and link will be removed until the infraction is corrected. If the infraction is not corrected within 14 calendar days, you forfeit your pixel space and directory listing, which will become publicly available again. You will NOT receive a refund of any kind.
11. If for any reason, you want to remove your image, title, description and link from our site, you can do so, but you will NOT get a refund, and the space will become publicly available again.
12. Images will be displayed at the exact size you have paid for (eg. 100 pixels = 10x10 pixels) if you submit a larger image it will be scaled to fit inside this area.
13. Images must be in GIF, PNG or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size
14. Images must not be animated
15. Submitted links must point to legitimate web pages only and begin with http:// (ftp or email links, etc. will not be accepted).
16. You must have the legal authority to promote the web site you are submitting as well as the legal authority to use the image, title, description and link you are submitting.
17. There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance. We are not responsible for outages due to natural disasters, hackers, attacks on the site, or any other downtime outside of our control. No refunds or compensation will be given for any downtime the site might experience.
18. Funds must be fully received and cleared before your image, title, description and link will be published to our site.
19. We will make every effort to have your Texels uploaded to the site within 24-48 hours of your funds clearing our account.
20. If two or more people in the queue request the same pixel location on the site, the person who ordered earliest will have priority.
21. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

Note:

This site may mention the word 'pixel' or 'pixels' which will effectively mean the same and are covered by the same terms and conditions as 'texel' and 'texels' respectively.
